Had a fantastic stay at this hotel, great location, its a few minutes from the Tram 2 that takes you all the way into the city centre really quickly! The reception staff were great, couldn't do enough for you as a guest. (when we arrived we had specified double beds for the three rooms we booked, two had been given twin beds, when we advised the reception they swapped our rooms immediately, this meant we were on different floors but that was fine) The bar was great, plenty of choices to drink, unfortunately the main bar person took around 40 minutess to serve you as he spent lots of time chatting with everyone. The room was a great size, very comfortable, the bathroom was a bit dirty on our stay, the tiles could have done with a scrub. And the fridge was not very cold. Other than that I would stay here again and would recommend Ramada Plaza Antwerp!

Restaurant service excellent. Excellent note for the headwaiter. Bar: The bartender on saterdaynight was very sociable to customers seated on the barstools, but very slow in taking orders from clients sitting at the tables. After a 15 minutes waitingtime I had to go to the receptiondesk to order a drink,upon my return to the bar, I was served immediatly by the headwaiter of the restaurant who just arrived to assist the bartender. The rest of the evening passed on smoothly. All in all we( party of 4 rooms ) were very satisfied about our stay. The price quality was excellent. we got at first a 'smokers'- room, but after a discussion we could change to a 'non-smokers'- room: the air and the smell on the 'smokers'- floor is realy ugly !

Difficulty in finding emergency exits. Every hotel I stay in I like to know where the stairs are. (Was in a hotel once which was evacuated due fire). I used the stairs in your hotel but wasn't sure if it led me outside without setting off an alarm. Rgds. BN.

Dear Mr Nelson, First of all thank you for the time that you haven taken to fill out the review on your hotel stay. For safety reasons our emergency exits are closed when there are no alarms or emergencies. When, for whatever reason, evacuation is needed, our exits are automatically opened to allow guests to leave the building. On the floors, highlighted signs and arrows indicate you where the exits are. You will find these on each floor, behind the orange doors. There are 2 exits per floor. After the North Sea Jazz festival marathon we really needed a good rest before going back to South Africa. The hotel is well situated and slightly far from the city buzz and it is perfect if peace and solitude is what you are looking for. We would certainly visit again.

The bar tender is a jewel: we arrived late due to lacking of transport from sportpaleis, but he was helpful and served us drinks even though it was almost closing time
